Position: Sales Representative
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and motivated Sales Representative to join our team at Motif Fashion. This role is pivotal in driving sales, enhancing customer experiences, and promoting our brand's vision of stylish, high-quality male fashion. The position is based at our office in Clerks Quarters, Buea, South West Region, Cameroon.
Key Responsibilities
• Customer Engagement: Welcome and assist customers, providing personalised service to enhance their shopping experience and encourage purchases that reflect their individuality.
• Product Presentation: Showcase Motif’s stylish collections, highlighting quality and craftsmanship to help customers make informed decisions.
• Sales Achievement: Contribute to meeting and exceeding sales targets by promoting products effectively and creating an inviting shopping atmosphere.
• Market Awareness: Stay updated on fashion trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product promotions and customer engagement.
• Customer Support: Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a positive shopping experience and escalating complex matters to management as needed.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of Motifs products, including style, fit, and care, to provide expert advice to customers.
• Record Keeping: Accurately document sales transactions and manage customer appointments, ensuring all records are up-to-date and organised.
• Promotional Events: Assist in planning and executing in-store promotions and events to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
• Online Engagement: Participate in online discussions and social media interactions to promote Motifs products and connect with customers beyond the store
• Content Creation: Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including product highlights, promotions, and customer stories.
• Analytics Monitoring: Track and analyse social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to foster a positive work environment and share insights on customer preferences and sales strategies.
• Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques continually.
• Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback on products and services to inform improvements and marketing strategies.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support overall shop operations and contribute to Motif’s mission.
Person Specifications
• Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in retail or fashion (Additional qualifications in sales or marketing are an advantage).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
• Passion for fashion and a keen eye for style and trends.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving sales targets.
